Please find listed below the booking conditions we adhere to at The Catnap Hotel. They are laid out to provide high standards of care to our feline guests, in a safe and clean enviroment.
All cats must be immunised against cat flu and feline enteritis, proof of immunisation is required with a valid vaccination certificate. Cats should have their boosters no less than 14 days prior to boarding.
Your cat must be treated against fleas and worms before their stay at The Catnap Hotel. If it is noticed that cats require treatment during their stay, the cost will be passed onto the customer. These costs will include treatment and cleaning for the chalet and surrounding areas.
Cats are insured whilst boarding at The Catnap Hotel, we will contact our linked Veterinary Surgery if we believe the cat is unwell. Costs of treatment will be covered to the ceiling limits of our insurance (£1250). Any costs exceeding this will be paid by the customer. Elderly cats will not be covered by our insurance due to their advancing age.
Any pre-existing medical conditions must be declared on the booking form, and will not be covered by our insurance.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness on arrival at The Catnap Hotel.
We regret, we are unable to accept male cats over 6 months old that have not been neutered, and it is preferable that female cats are also neutered.
Cats should arrive at the cattery in a suitable secure cat container. We accept no responsibility for the loss of any cat if this advice is not followed, The secure cat container will be kept in the sleeping area of the cats chalet until customers return to collect their cats.
Should you decide to collect your cat prior to the agreed collection date, full booking fees apply.
Late cancellations, less than 6 weeks notice, will incur the full booking charge. Rooms are reserved, and this prevents allocation to other guests. An invoice will be issued for the late cancellation (enabling you to claim from holiday insurance).
All fees are payable for each day your cat occupies a room, this includes the day of arrival and the day of departure.
Cats can only be picked up and dropped off within our opening times to ensure all guests are well catered for throughout their stay.
Christmas, New Year, Easter and all bank holidays are subject to minimum booking requirement of five days.
Bank holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve will be charged at a rate of a full day, plus a half day.
A non refundable deposit of £50.00 will be required within 7 days of making a booking, to secure your cat’s room on your specified dates.
